Skiing Verbier

Skiing Verbier was certainly one of my top skiing destinations with an added price-tag of course…So to finish off this healthy week I made an asparagus salad with balsamic roasted strawberries and Burrata Mozzarella. Was super yum, vibrant and crunchy, served with charred grilled Fillet steak. I missed meat, in the alps, you will pay roughly 30-45 euros for a 200-300g steak… I’ll stick to this salad, though.

Easy Savory Party Snacks

Easy savory party snacks can be a bit tricky since you have invited more than a few people to come over, which leaves a few mouths to feed. Don’t stress, here are four very easy recipes (that you can make double) to fill them hungry tummies. Mini corndogs, Bran muffins topped with salmon cream cheese and Biltong and Mini frittatas. Quite a mouthful, but oh so worth every bite!

Mini BBQ Meatballs

Mini BBQ Meatballs have been a go-to savory snack that has been in my family for a while… My mom used to have them stashed away with boiled eggs, sandwiches, cold chicken and hot coffee for a late breakfast on the road! I seriously could not wait up until we made that stop to start pilling or shall I say pigging out…

Two Easy French Dishes

Two easy French Dishes has taken up not a whole lot of time in my kitchen this week…You can make them in no time and they taste delicious! Serve Tomato Farcie as the main attraction and then raspberry Clafoutis as the encore dessert.

France in winter Bloom

France is in bloom! The cold air greeted my sunburnt skin and I was surprised to see that Montpellier is in Bloom. Baby, it is still cold outside, but pink flowers are decorating the pale gray sky. It’s such a beautiful sight for sore eyes!

Je t’aime

Je t’aime, I love you. There are so many ways to say it, but to show it on Valentine’s day can be a bit of a hassle when you have no clue what to do this year. I have you covered!
