Bobotie Times Two

Bobotie Times two, which means, made two different ways than the traditional recipes we all have come to love…I like to cook the “favorites” every now and then and add my own twist to it. I guess I would never have made them if I was not living overseas, but you tend to gravitate back to what you know and comforts you. I experimented with a dish called Bobotie. It is not a traditional Christmas dish, but makes a great dinner and Sunday lunch!

Peanut butter Horlicks cookies

Peanut butter Horlicks cookies are a winner for sure! Horlick’s are probably one of my most favorite drinks and things to eat during the winter season. It is very hard to find a good malty drink in a country where espresso is king. We came upon a packet of Horlicks and just by drinking it was not enough for me…I had to make some cookies too!!
