Ingredients

  •  1 1/3 cups rolled or regular oats (blend the rolled oats for a smoother texture) 
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder 
  • 1 scoop of vegan protein powder 
  • 1 tsp chia seeds 
  • 1/3 tsp ground cinnamon 
  • pinch of salt 
  • 1/4 cups chopped pecan nuts
  • 1 shot espresso 
  • hot water or milk to top 
  • cherries to serve 
  • tofu chocolate mousse to top or yogurt of choice 

Method

  1. Add the oats, cacao powder, protein powder, chia seeds, cinnamon, salt, and pecans to a glass jar. 
  2. When you are ready to eat top the oats with the espresso and extra hot milk, mix well, screw on the jar lid, and let it sit for 5 minutes, and enjoy with some yogurt, cherries, and a dust of honey and cacao powder.
