What I ate today plant based pregnancy

What I ate today plant-based pregnancy is just a low down on my regular meals these past weeks. Even though it varies day to day, I try to stick to the basics which are plant-based protein, lots of veggies, fats and low GI carbs in every meal. I am craving fruit, smoothies and chopped salads with this pregnancy whereas with my first pregnancy I was craving salty treats like there was no tomorrow.

Peanut butter date coconut smoothie is a lifesaver to all the mommas ou there who don't have the time to have a proper sit-down brekkie...I do love peanut butter... it's super addictive and it's a close favorite to my all time almond butter obsession! I know there are copious amounts of variations on how to make a good peanut butter smoothie, but this combo is certainly a go to when I need to stop the peanut butter cravings that are creeping up on me, especially since I am breastfeeding our hungry little bear. It's easy to make in a flash since there is less time to prepare my beloved breakfasts.

Une journée d'amour is just another way of celebrating love...It may be man-made-up day and you might not believe in it, but it does remind us to appreciate the ones that we love. Everyone can have a reminder of that, I would say! This is also actually my due date...So fingers crossed that the gift of love will be showered upon us today, either way you've gotta feel the love!
