I have been dying to make Churros for a while now, just because I love love any dessert with Cinnamon sugar. These mini churro cups are so easy to make and your guests will absolutely love these cute bite size, melt in your mouth Cinnamon bites covered in chocolate!

I have been dying to make Churros for a while now, just because I love love any dessert with Cinnamon sugar. These mini churro cups are so easy to make and your guests will absolutely love these cute bite size, melt in your mouth Cinnamon bites covered in chocolate!

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup of water
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 500ml oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 bar milk chocolate

Method

  1. Pour the oil into a pot on the stove on medium to high and start to heat up the oil for frying.
  2. Mix together the water, sugar, and the oil.
  3. Gradually add the flour and the salt to the sugar mixture until a dough forms.
  4. Roll the dough into long sausages and cut into 3 cm sausages.
  5. Once the oil is ready, place about 3 to 4 Churros in the oil until golden brown.
  6. Remove and place on a paper towel to soak up the oil.
  7. Roll in the cinnamon sugar and then place in plastic cups and drizzle over the melted chocolate.
  8. Place the refrigerated coconut cream in a mixing bowl. Add the icing sugar until soft peaks forms.
  9. Decorate with whipped coconut cream, caramel syrup, fresh berries & mint.
