Hot cross bun latte is just a perfect drink on this cold Friday. With Easter two weeks away, I can’t help but dive right into the spicy splendor the season has to offer. It is a pretty special event coming up and I want to celebrate accordingly, kicking off with this very delectable spicy latte. I haven’t done a whole lot of drinks on my website, but I had to share this one!

I have been working like mad women and some days I’m just plain ran down, thanks to my own expense. I finished my baking course and jumped right into a few collaborations for this up and coming easter. So its kind of my fault I guess trying to do it all. Can we do it all? Or is there some silly secret I’ve been missing out on all working, housekeeping mothers? I know it’s all about planning, but somedays I just have to jump the gun and so all I can when little bub is at school.

So mothers, how you do it all? or does something have to give? You either give up on you and your dreams for now and do all that you can for your family and use the time you have to rest and enjoy watching some telly. Or you use the time you have alone to stimulate your artistic side or workaholic side so you get that kind of satisfaction? I don’t know hey, some days I just think, what is all of this hassle really worth at the end of the day, and others days I crave some me time.

I know I might be rambling on to a few of you who get it and not think I am uber crazy to feel this way? We watched This is us the other night and Beth, girl I get you and I feel for you and I think I see some of myself in you. You have a passion, a dream and that makes you look so selfish, but there are mothers that do a full-time job and don’t have the luxury to be with their kids and I totally get that, but can you do it all, that is my question?

I love my family and would never offer up these precious moments I have with them, it’s just hard getting it all done at the end of the day, and pacing yourself is what’s it’s all about. Work smart, have a passion, doing it well, doing motherhood well, taking care of yourself too? Or does something gotta give…! That’s me right now. Here’s the recipe for the hot cross bun latte, it gave me a couple of answers this morning.
