Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, especially when there is a Chocolate & Fig chai seed pudding waiting for me in the fridge…

There is just something about Chia seed pudding. It is so filling, delicious and super good fo you. I have been eating a lot of smoothies lately and this breakfast options just lightens the breakfast slump that I am currently in. Get the recipe below, it is so easy to prepare the night before, wich means no fuss the next morning!

Ingredients

  • Mash 1 banana
  • 1 tbs Chia seeds
  • 1/2 almond milk
  • 2 tsp of cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup Muesli
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/4 cup almonds
  • Fresh figs

Method

  1. Mix the chia seeds with the mashed banana, almond milk and cocoa powder and place in the fridge overnight.
  2. Ensemble your jar by starting with the chocolate layer first, then a layer of muesli, cottage cheese and lastly a sliced fresh fig.
  3. Enjoy!
