Spicy Thai chicken stirfry

Spicy Thai chicken zoodles stirfry is my love declaration to Thai cuisine. I have always loved stir fry and I guessed I had it all in the bag, I mean all you have to do is just fry some chicken and veg and load up some sweet and sour sauce from the supermarket. Man, did I not know what I was missing. My husband thought that is all I could make. (so he did marry me for love after all, because I would make it on a regular. Just because it's always a go to when you don't know what to make, and then it gets pretty stale after a while. So this a great way of mixing it up. This is your game changer when it comes to stirfry.

Brioche breakfast loaf

Brioche breakfast loaf is my new favorite way of eating bread in general. I am not much of a bread eater, but when it's super good, like this loaf. I can't say no! I love Brioche and it's a favorite of the French as well. There are so many recipes on how to use this dough. I made this loaf, and it took a bit of time, but it was no time till every crumb was devoured. My son loved it so much, and usually, he gets pretty over things when he eats it more than once! But no one in this household was sick of having a slice of heaven for pretty much every meal of the day until there was no more!

Roasted Carrot butternut soup

Roasted carrot butternut soup is one of my favorite soups ever. I know I've said it before because everything that I make is my favorite...So I am a bit misleading. I love butternut soup and have made a few kids in the past, curry butternut soup, butternut chickpea soup and butternut chili soup. I have to say that the combo of carrot and butternut absolutely taste amazing. The carrot adds that tinge of sweetness that is so unexpected. I promise you, this is so easy and tasty you'll want to make it over and over again!

Healthy Milktart crepes

Milktart Crepes have become my ultimate favorite way to eat crepes. Even though Nutella coconut filled crepes right next to the Ifle tower is hard to beat. Crepes with a view can be anyone's favorite am I right? No matter what they taste like. Now you don"t have to go all the way to France to experience good enough crepes. I combined the much loved French dessert with a well-known favorite in South African. One thing that we have in common is that we love crepes too. I guess that I am finding more and more similarities to cure the "missing home" blues.

OH SO SWEET Vegan meringues

OH SO SWEET Vegan meringues have seriously surprised me. What do these vegan (dairy & Animal free) meringues entail- chickpea brine? First of all, I thought these would taste pretty weird because of the whole using chickpea brine and all, but I have to say they taste pretty good. Almost like regular meringues to be honest and the bonus adding of rose water extract just added that extra bit of flair that every meringue needs.

Winter warming soups

Winter warming soups are soothers for my soul, especially since this winter has been so long. It seems as though it is getting better by the day and the spring blossoms have made their arrival. It is crazy to think that one year ago I had a newborn baby and absolutely no time to cook. I wish I tried more soup recipes, but in that "new" state of life, you kind of forget all and you're submerged into mothering mode. These soups have been so easy to make and I have made them numerous times. They are filling and so nutritious for any winter lunch or dinner...
