Marie biscuit Brownie Caramels

Marie Biscuit brownie caramels are a combination of my two most favorite sweet treats. When I was younger my mother would make a batch Marie biscuit brownies also known as "skurwe jantjies" in Afrikaans. This batch was special like ever batch was because this dessert is my dad's favorite. Therefore we had to be either super sneaky to cut off a slice and place it back in the fridge on the exact spot or ask very nicely after supper.

Om die tafel met Marita van der Vyver, is 'n droom onderhoud wat 'n werklikheid geword het vir my. Nie net is sy 'n ikoniese skrywer nie, maar sommer 'n bobaas kook ook. Somerkos in Provence is sowaar net 'n voorsmakie van die "creme de la creme" lewe van Marita van der Vyver in Frankryk. Ek het behoorlik gesmul toe ek deur haar Somerkos in Provence kosboek blaai en ek kon nie wag om elke resep te probeer nie.

Peanut butter date coconut smoothie is a lifesaver to all the mommas ou there who don't have the time to have a proper sit-down brekkie...I do love peanut butter... it's super addictive and it's a close favorite to my all time almond butter obsession! I know there are copious amounts of variations on how to make a good peanut butter smoothie, but this combo is certainly a go to when I need to stop the peanut butter cravings that are creeping up on me, especially since I am breastfeeding our hungry little bear. It's easy to make in a flash since there is less time to prepare my beloved breakfasts.
